The purpose of the Swedish Infrastructure for Integrated Structural Biology (SWEDSTRUCT) is to promote an integrative approach to structural biology by providing access and user support to facilities for protein production, X-ray crystallography and protein NMR. Participating national infrastructures are the Swedish NMR center, University of Gothenburg, the Macromolecular Crystallography beam line at MAX IV Laboratory, Lund and the Protein Science Facility at Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm.
SWEDSTRUCT is open to Swedish scientists from both academia and industry. Transparent peer-review will provide access based on merit and scientific priorities.
SWEDSTRUCT is the national contact point to Instruct and will facilitate scientific exchange and technology transfer between national and European infrastructures and research groups. SWEDSTRUCT will also support training in approaches to integrative structural biology by the organization of workshops and practical courses.
